Adult & Youth Art Classes

Alfred Memelink runs regular and popular art classes in a wonderful space above the gallery with beautiful views over the harbour.  Alfred has specialized in watercolours for over 30 years and has a great deal of experience in teaching watercolour techniques and very skilled with sharing his knowledge with you in clear and simple ways.

No previous art experience is required - these workshops are suitable for both beginners and more experienced watercolour artists who would like to fine tune their skills and style.  And if you think you can’t draw? in most cases the drawing will already be done for you to enable us to focus on the joys of watercolour painting.

The cost is $25 for youth and $50 for adults which includes a glass or two of wine to help you get inspired.

All materials are provided including quality watercolour paper, just turn up empty handed and leave two hours later with your own completed masterpiece and a beaming smile of creative satisfaction on your dial.

Looking For a Fun and Unique Social Club Event ?

We can tailor make a special Wine & Watercolour evening just for you.  If you’re looking for a creative team building event, Christmas party with a difference or you just wish to get a group of friends together for some creative fun, we'd love to make this work for you. Classes are generally held at the gallery but we can also come to your work or home.  You're welcome to set up a table of nibbles and we provide the wine.  Participants will end the evening with a lasting memory of the good time you had together, suitable for group size between 6 and 12.
